A Royal Wedding (in Texas)

“The ice-ing on the proverbial cake was an elaborate frozen sculpture sporting the couple’s new monogram, and a floral, gilded throne centerpiece created by Full Spectrum Ice Sculpture.”

The Event: Meredith and John’s Dream Wedding
Round Rock, Texas

Making Dreams Come True

We love when our clients come to us with a truly unique request.

A golden throne, adorned with flowers and encased in ice is at the top of our list of creative requests for 2022.

Every detail of this wedding was perfectly planned and executed with the help of local Austin wedding planners, The Whitt Experience.

Carats and Cake

Coordinating a large wedding is a big endeavor!

Luckily, our friends at Carats and Cake started a series where they explore how couples select the right wedding vendor team for their big day.

With a huge bank of wedding inspiration and a searchable database, they’re helping to make building your wedding vendor team a little easier!

A Garden Wedding

John and Meredith got engaged at the peak of the 2020 pandemic. They knew they couldn’t go into planning naively and reached out to the only person who was their clear first move, Gina Whittington of The Whitt Experience.

The pandemic wasn’t easy on them. They encountered a number of bumps in the road along the way, having to change venues, wedding dates, and reschedule vendors.

With visions for a Garden wedding, Meredith hoped for a floral-filled day. Then a second curveball struck – a Texas-sized winter storm. Many of their vendors were without power the week of the wedding. But they persisted!

Botanical No. Nine

Given the bride’s vision for a Garden Wedding, getting the best florist for the job was a top priority.

Enter, Botanical No. Nine.

Every bloom was artfully placed, from our throne of flowers frozen on ice, to archways bursting with color.

The Perfect Day

Despite all the ups and downs, the day finally arrived.

The venue, Woodbine Mansion, was perfectly decorated.

A band from Artisan Oddities was ready.

MML Hospitality stepped in with brisket taquitos, shoestring fries and late-night sliders.

Tents were up from Marque Event Rentals.

Lighting was set by Ilios Productions.

The bride let Danielle Barr and Makeup by Denise get her wedding day ready.

The dance floor was customized with a floral pattern from Mike’s Dance Floor Rentals.

There was nothing left to do, but get hitched!
